THE CHALLENGE

Before Kleenoil, Frito-Lay trucks required:

Oil changes every 20,000 miles , resulting in: o High oil consumption across 1,600 trucks. o Significant downtime for maintenance. o Increased labour and filter costs. The company needed a solution to: o Safely extend oil drain intervals. o Reduce oil use and disposal. o Improve fleet efficiency and sustainability.

KLEENOIL’S SOLUTION

The Kleenoil Bypass Filtration System was installed across the Frito-Lay fleet.

How It Works A small portion of engine oil continuously circulates through a dense cellulose filter cartridge at a controlled flow rate (2–3 quarts/minute). This allows: o Removal of particles down to 1 micron (3 absolute) . o Removal of 99.95% of all water . Result: oil is kept in “as new” condition , dramatically extending its service life while reducing engine wear.

RESULTS ACHIEVED

Extended Oil Life Oil drain intervals increased from 20,000 miles → 180,000 miles . Kleenoil cartridges replaced every 60,000 miles . Fleet-Wide Impact Nine oil changes avoided per truck per year . Across 1,600 trucks, this equated to: o Millions of dollars in savings over the past decade. o Dramatic reduction in oil usage and disposal.
