After installation, the vehicle was driven 16,000 miles without an oil change , far exceeding the standard 6,000-mile interval. Oil lab testing was carried out immediately after shutdown.

Independently Verified Findings Additives remained at levels comparable to new oil No moisture detected in the system Low wear metals confirmed minimal engine abrasion Viscosity remained within new oil range No coolant leakage indicators present The laboratory conclusion stated that the oil was:

"Still in good condition and fit for further use with adequate additive reserve... extremely low contaminant level, no water present and no evidence of wear." At the time of this test, the 300Tdi engine had already exceeded 151,000 miles , reaching 157,000+ miles shortly after — with no deterioration recorded.
