Report Example - plastics
2. Water Content
• Range: 22 – 74 ppm across machines. • Slight increases noted in NB2000T, KM2700T, KM1300T. • Still well below alarm levels (<100 ppm). • Given the time of year, the rise is likely linked to seasonal humidity and ambient moisture ingress rather than system leaks.
Benefit: Kleenoil elements continue to control dissolved water, keeping levels safe and preventing corrosion, cavitation, and additive depletion.
3. Oil Health (TAN & Viscosity)
• TAN: Reduced by 20 – 40% in all machines (e.g. NB800T 0.54 → 0.36, NB1300T 0.54 → 0.38, KM2700T 0.39 → 0.31). • Viscosity: Stable across all, within VG46 specification.
Benefit: Oxidation is under control, oil life extended, fewer costly drains/disposals.
4. Wear Metals & PQ
• PQ Index: Decreased or stable in all (e.g. KM2700T 3 → 3, NB1300T 4 → 3, NB800T 11 → 7). • Metals:
o Iron, Nickel, Chromium: negligible.
o Copper: stable in low teens on NB800T and NB1300T (likely bronze/brass components, not escalating).
o Silicon: near zero on all (no airborne dust ingress).
Benefit: No active wear detected; machinery components are protected and running in a clean environment.
5. Additives
• Phosphorus/Zinc: Increased slightly on most machines. • Calcium: stable with minor fluctuations. • Indicates top-ups with fresh AW hydraulic oil after filtration install.
Benefit: Chemistry remains healthy; replenishment supports anti-wear protection.
